East Hampton Interior Designer | Bathroom & Kitchen Designer

Laura Sanatore remodeled the kitchen, butler’s pantry, and master bathroom of this eclectic Hamptons beach house (originally built in the early 1900s)—bringing in modern design elements while respecting the character of the home’s architecture. With a client unafraid of pattern and color, the kitchen is anchored by a boldly patterned cement tile radiant heat statement floor, and also features custom cabinetry, Caesarstone quartz countertops, a butcher block topped island and a glossy white subway tile backsplash. Finding the room for a butler’s pantry/bar area was an added bonus we were able to attain, which created a stylish space to service the living room. In the master bathroom, we designed a classic space with modern finishes using large application slate grey porcelain tile on the floor and shower walls, a Carrara marble countertop and shiplap walls. The appealing alcove tub has a Carrara marble top and we used white penny-round tiles to add texture to the shower ceiling and floor. Laura Sanatore partnered with Sean Murphy Contracting, Inc. on this project.
